TATA.ev Unveils First 10 High-Speed MegaChargers Across Key Indian Corridors Tata charger Corridor

On May 16, 2025, TATA.ev inaugurated its first 10 high-speed MegaChargers across key highway corridors in India. These chargers deliver peak power well above standard fast chargers, enabling rapid top-ups for Tata EV owners and reducing charging downtime.

Installed in partnership with ChargeZone and Statiq, this rollout is part of TATA.ev’s “Open Collaboration” framework to expand charging infrastructure to 400,000 points by 2027.

Each MegaCharger site offers passenger amenities such as restrooms, restaurants, and complimentary Wi-Fi for a seamless travel experience.

This initiative marks a pivotal step toward overcoming “range anxiety” and supporting India’s transition to sustainable mobility.

Locations: The initial 10 MegaChargers are strategically placed along major highways connecting metropolitan and regional centers.

Partners: TATA.ev collaborated with ChargeZone and Statiq to deploy and operate these high-power charging stations.

Expansion Target: Under its “Open Collaboration” framework, TATA.ev aims to scale to 500+ MegaChargers and reach 400,000 total charging points nationwide by the end of 2027.
