Oben Electric has introduced a new battery protection plan called Protect 8/80 to make electric vehicle ownership even more convenient for its customers. This new plan is designed to give riders extra peace of mind when it comes to battery performance and long-term reliability.

What is Protect 8/80?

Starting May 1st, Oben Electric customers can opt for the Protect 8/80 plan, which covers their EV batteries for 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. The plan is available for a one-time cost of just ₹9,999 and will cover all battery-related concerns, including repairs and replacements.

The coverage applies to both the 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery options used in the brand’s popular electric bike, the Rorr EZ.
