JBM Green Energy Systems Secures 3 GWh Battery Orders and Expands Utility-Scale Projects

JBM Green Energy Systems has secured battery orders totaling 3 GWh, marking a significant step in its expansion within India’s energy storage sector. These orders are expected to support various applications, including electric vehicles and utility-scale energy storage projects.

The company, a subsidiary of JBM Auto Limited, has been actively involved in manufacturing lithium-ion battery packs for electric vehicles. With the recent orders, JBM Green Energy Systems aims to enhance its production capabilities and contribute to the growing demand for energy storage solutions in India.In addition to battery manufacturing, JBM Green Energy Systems is scaling up its utility-scale projects.

The company is focusing on integrating renewable energy sources with battery energy storage systems (BESS) to provide reliable and sustainable power solutions. This initiative aligns with India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, supplemented by at least 34 GW of battery energy storage.

JBM Green Energy Systems’ expansion into utility-scale projects includes the development of solar and wind hybrid projects with integrated energy storage solutions. These projects are designed to ensure round-the-clock availability of renewable energy, peak power management, and reduced dependency on diesel generator backup power.
