Delta Electronics India and Compage Automation Systems have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build EV powertrains for Indian three‑wheelers. The partnership combines Delta’s products—such as chargers, controllers, battery systems, and DC‑DC converters—with Compage’s 12 years of EV experience in India, including its engineering and testing capabilities.

The alliance will produce locally made EV powertrain and battery systems. They aim to meet the needs of Indian commercial and fleet EV users. The collaboration supports the Made in India push and seeks to improve the domestic e‑mobility ecosystem.

Anil Aggarwal, Managing Director of Compage, said the solution was tested and designed by experienced teams to deliver reliable EV systems. The two companies will work together to innovate and scale production.

Delta Electronics India is a power electronics and infrastructure company with operations including EV charging solutions, automation, and energy storage. The MoU is part of its aim to support India’s shift to electric mobility.

This partnership combines Delta’s hardware with Compage’s EV domain knowledge. It may accelerate the adoption of high‑performance and locally built EV powertrains for three‑wheelers in India.
