EMO Energy Unveils India’s Smart EV Delivery Power Hub NEXO

EMO Energy has launched NEXO, a fully integrated energy ecosystem for last-mile delivery operations. This system combines solar panels, liquid-cooled energy storage, fast chargers, and AI-based energy management into a single platform aimed at reducing costs and boosting efficiency in quick-commerce dark stores.

The NEXO system by EMO Energy includes several key components designed to support last-mile EV delivery operations. At its core is ZenBase, a liquid-cooled battery energy storage system that helps store and manage power efficiently. The system also includes SWFT, a dual-gun fast charger capable of supporting up to 20 riders per charger each day, making it suitable for high-demand delivery hubs.

Another important component is ZenPac, a 2 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack that can charge up to 80% in just 20 minutes. ZenPac is protected by 16 global patents and is designed for quick and reliable energy delivery in electric two-wheelers. Together, these components work with EMO’s AI-based energy management software to ensure stable, efficient, and cost-effective operation across delivery networks.

NEXO will be first deployed in 100 dark stores across Bengaluru and the Delhi NCR region. EMO already operates over 6,400 battery-powered delivery vehicles and around 900 fast chargers at more than 200 dark stores nationwide.


Field tests of the integrated setup show energy savings of about 25% and a 40% reduction in operating costs at dark-store locations.

The system centers on EMO’s AI-driven energy management software, SENS, which automatically balances solar and grid power to maintain uptime.
