Quantum Energy Expands Net‑Zero EV Manufacturing Facility in Hyderabad Quantum Energy

Quantum Energy Limited, a Hyderabad‑based EV startup, has expanded its manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram. The new facility now spans 2.4 lakh sq ft and can produce up to 2 lakh electric two‑wheelers per year.

The plant is designed to operate as a net‑zero facility to support eco‑friendly production methods and Telangana’s goal of clean industry growth.

This expansion addresses growing demand for Quantum Energy’s current models—Plasma, Milan, and Bziness—and upcoming models tailored to Indian road and weather conditions. The company aims to strengthen its position in last‑mile EV mobility by introducing smart, affordable scooters.

Managing Director Chakravarthi Chukkapalli said the move is a key milestone in Quantum Energy’s journey. He stated the facility reflects their commitment to energy‑efficient production and sustainable mobility. The expansion is expected to generate local jobs and reinforce Telangana’s role as a hub for green industry and EV innovation.
