The Kia Syros EV is expected to be the brand’s most budget-friendly electric vehicle in the Indian market, with an estimated starting price of around ₹14 lakh. Designed as a compact urban SUV, the Syros EV targets city dwellers seeking an eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation solution.

Shared Platform with Carens EV

The Syros EV is likely to share its underpinnings with the upcoming Kia Carens EV, which is slated for a mid-2025 launch. Both models are expected to utilize a modified version of Hyundai’s K2 platform, which also supports the Creta EV. This shared architecture is anticipated to streamline production and reduce costs.

Anticipated Features and Performance

While specific technical details are yet to be disclosed, the Syros EV is projected to offer a driving range of approximately 400-500 km on a single charge, catering to daily commuting needs.
